The Prayer Ministry of Unity Church of Peace

Each week members of the congregation are invited to place requests for prayer in the prayer box at the front of the sanctuary. From there, the requests are disseminated to the members of the Prayer Team Ministry who hold in consciousness divine order for each of the requests. The requests are also sent to Silent Unity, where they are held in prayer for thirty days. The prayer team members are also available following Sunday services for prayer with individuals. In addition to the prayer requests, congregants may request prayer calls or letters.

The prayer ministry is under the leadership of Rev. Norma Rosado, who provides guidance and inspiration, and meets with the prayer ministry team on a monthly basis.

Here is an example of an affirmation Norma has provided for our prayer ministry team:

Today is the day that I open to God’s will. I bless each and everyone whose name has been given to us. I see them at peace, joyful, and healed. They express their God-given potential. I bless our church and any activity we undertake. This is truly God’s church, and everyone who comes to visit is blessed and is a blessing to us. This I declare in the name of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
